 All incoming wastewater to the plant comes from one of three places:
  1. Collection system force-main from Daisy Road (just north of Rosewood Road) across PLSD property to plant.  (Photo shows force-main crossing looking west towards Daisy Road from wwtp property)
  2. Incoming waste haulers such as Otto Jacobs or Pat's Sanitary
  3. Wastewater generated at the plant itself
screener.jpg (23069 bytes) This is a photo of the screening device that will accept wastewater from waste haulers as mentioned above.  This is located in the far northwest corner of the PLSD property.  The bar screen removes anything bigger than 1/2 inch and these items would be sent to a landfill.
